Queen Amanirenas; The Warrior Queen of the Kush Empire.

This should be my last piece for the year, hopefully the end of my warrior queen series.

Queen Amanirenas, The one-eyed Nubian warrior queen of the Kush empire, (25 B.C.).

She led her kushite forces on a four-year Meroitic-Roman war, successfully halting the expansion of the Roman forces beyond rome-occupied Egypt, and managed to humiliate Augustus Caesar.

She stopped the Roman empire from Africa's backdoor. (Arguably the most badass Warrior Queen of Africa, if I must say).
